My wife and son went to Indonesia for his summer vacation so I have it on during their trip, after that, it's off again.

But, you are right.

I am a bit anti-social when it comes to all that stuff. No one gives a damn about my personal life except, maybe, the government. Likewise, I feel the same way. If I want to know about someone's life, they would be a friend and I will talk to them the way friends do.

Under normal circumstances, I would. However, I disabled Facebook quite some time ago and considering recent "revelations" with the three letter agency and their treachery against the country, I am glad I did.

My family on my wife's side are from Indonesia. I have to send money every month to help my mother-in-law survive so I see the exchange rates on a very regular basis. I also hear the issues with food and other basic necessities. It's mind boggling and if the citizens of this world ever fully understand the truth, the deaths of these modern "financiers" will be grotesque, to say the least...

I did not say they worship God the same way, merely that Allah and God are the same. One or the other being right about one topic does not make the other wrong about another topic.

You know what's ironic? Christians and Muslims both believe Jesus is the Messiah, Jews do not.

The Koran states that Allah has no son. The Bible clearly says that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, and John 1 declares Him to be the Creator. Even the Old Testament presents God as having a Son.

Therefore, either the Bible is right, or the Koran is right. Either Allah is supreme, or Jehovah God is, and He has a Son who is God come in the flesh, the Creator of the universe.

They cannot both be true.

Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, John the Baptist and Jesus are all considered messengers and prophets in Islam. It seems rather strange to me that the deity Islam calls Allah (which is arabic for God) and the one that Islam says sent all these prophets, is not the same God of the Bible.
I don't give Islam any special position over any of the other religions and in fact, I grew up a Baptist myself although I have strayed far from the path a long time ago. However, man in all his ultimate stupidity and arrogance, seems to have a hard time reconciling which religion is correct, to the exclusivity of the others. "You are ALL wrong and we are right plus, oh yeah by the way, you are going to hell." Somehow, that doesn't strike me as the love that is preached throughout all three major religions.
Personally, I think all three have figured out many things correctly and well as incorrectly. There are common threads that run throughout them all and if people started paying attention to the similarities instead of driving wedges into the differences, maybe more would let go of the hate in their hearts.

Did you ever hear about Tom's window tinting experience? He was pulled over for that and ended up with three charges against him: the window tinting, willfully keeping an officer from his duties, and resisting arrest. If you haven't heard, I'll tell you the full story sometime. It's pretty disgusting. The other two charges other than the tinting ended up getting dropped, ya know, cuz I work for lawyers and stuff. Ha. But it ended up costing us several hundred dollars to fight, plus a $300.00 fine for the tinting. And it was an initial $1,300.00 bond to get him out of the stupid holding cell, too.
